About Taylor Therapies

A thoughtful space to make sense of things.

Taylor Therapies offers counselling with care, curiosity and respect for each person’s experience. The work is grounded in the belief that being heard without judgement can make room for change.

The practice

We are a small team of qualified counsellors, who are members of the BACP and follow their code of ethics and conduct.  https://www.bacp.co.uk

Taylor Therapies was set up to offer affordable counselling sessions, conducted either in-person or online. There is no single reason people come to counselling. You may be living with a feeling that has become hard to carry, navigating a change, or simply wanting to understand yourself or your relationships more clearly.

Taylor Therapies is a calm, confidential space for adults and young people aged 16 and over to explore what matters. Sessions are shaped around your needs rather than a fixed idea of how you should be.

What matters here

The values behind the work.

Care without judgement

Your experiences, questions and uncertainties are welcomed with warmth and respect.

Honesty and collaboration

Counselling works best as a shared process. We will keep checking in about what is helpful for you.

A pace that feels manageable

There is no need to have the right words or to move faster than feels safe.

Professional approach

Clear, ethical and centred on you.

A good therapeutic relationship needs trust. From the first conversation, you can ask about the approach, professional background, training and the practical boundaries that help make counselling feel safe.

  • A confidential and respectful setting
  • A clear conversation about how counselling works
  • Space to ask about experience and professional background
  • Regular reflection on what you need from the work
